Day 28(11/June/2019) 釧路―厚岸―浜中茶内
810分発。気温13度。気温は昨日とほとんど変わりないが暖かい。ダウンを着込む必要なし。北海道はどこも同じかもしれないが、町と町の間隔が長く、その間に民家が全くなく森、草原、海岸が続く。今日も同じ。
１２時前に厚岸（あっけし）に到着。見晴らしのいい場所に、道の駅コンキリエがあった。コンキリエって何？ 後で調べると、「イタリア語で貝殻の形をしたパスタ」らしい。あーあれか！名前は知らなかった。この厚岸はカキで有名らしく、当然私も昼メシはカキ。この道の駅は、道内では９年連続No.1の人気を誇っているとの事。
そこから橋を渡り、自転車で散策していると、民家の庭に沢山の鹿がいる。驚いて、近くにいた二人のおばあちゃん方に、「大変ですよ！ 沢山の鹿がいますよ！！！」と教えると、「そうなのよねーーいつも来るのよねーー。全部で１２匹いるのよ。山から下りて来て、海の水飲んで、帰りにこの辺りで草や花や野菜を食べるのよ。毎日棒でたたいてるけど、だめね。」といたってのんびり。私も自転車を降りて、追っ払うのを手伝った。それが終わって私も移動し始めると、道路に注意書きが。やっぱり鹿が多いんだ！
しばらく行くと、昨日見た釧路湿原より湿原らしい場所が！ なんだトロッコ列車で行く必要なかったじゃない！ これ湿原だよ！ と思っていたら、「別寒辺牛（べっかんべうし）湿原 野鳥観測所」の看板。「べかんべうし」とは「すごい重箱読みだな～～」と思ったが、それはまあ置いといて、やはりここはちゃんとした湿原だったんだと、納得。
釧路―根室が１２０ｋｍ越えになり、１日で行くには少々距離が長い！ その半分くらいのところにどこか泊まる所ないかな～～、とかなり探してやっと見つけた宿が浜中町茶内。４月に亡くなったモンキーパンチの古里なんだ！茶内駅ではルパン３世がお出迎え。

Kushiro-Akkeshi-Chanai
I left Kushiro-city at 810am, Temp:13C. Yesterday it was 12C and today it is 13C. There is no difference but I felt today was much warmer than yesterday.
In Hokkaido, there is a long distance between town to town. And in-between there are no habitants. It means nothing to report. I arrived Akkeshi town after 4 hours. I learned that Akkeshi was famous as a production place of oyster. Off course, I ate oyster-lunch at drive-in restaurant which was awarded as No.1 drive-in restaurant in Hokkaido 9years consecutively.
After lunch, I went around town and found a lot of deer in the backyard of private house. I just let 2 of old ladies know about the deer. They said, “Yes. Everyday they are coming around here. Firstly, they go to the beach to drink seawater and come here to eat the grasses, flowers and vegetables.” After this event, I found the caution sign board about deer. I realized a lot of deer were around here.
I also found the very similar scenery of Kushiro marsh on the way. If I can see this, it was not necessary to visit there by train. This marsh was “Bekanbeushi Marsh”. There was an observation house for wild birds. There are a lot of birds in this marsh during winter.
Finally, I arrived Chanai station. This is the hometown of Japanese famous Manga creator. The character of Manga welcomed me at the station.
