Day103(1/Sep/2019) 須崎―高知(Susaki-Kochi)

さあ今日から9月！益々頑張るぞ！朝から曇っているが大丈夫そうだ。７４０発。気温25度。しかし、5分後に雨が降り出した。何が「大丈夫そうだ！」だ。今日も雨かよ。。。何回か雨宿りしながら高知市に入る。仁淀川はゆっくりと流れていた。
あと３－４ｋｍで桂浜という地点で少し強い雨。悲しくなる。その辺りで珍しいものを発見。西から海岸線沿いに桂浜に向かっていたが、その一番いい場所に、個人のお墓が２ｋｍ程ずらーっと並んでいた。普通だったらカフェとかレストランとか並んでいる場所。もったいないというか、高知人は死んでから一番いい所で眠っているわけだ。
さてやって来ました桂浜。高知と言えば桂浜、桂浜と言えば坂本龍馬でしょう。世界ガッカリ名所のシンガポールのマーライオンや、日本ガッカリ名所の札幌の時計台的なものを想像していたが、いやいやなかなか大きくて大したものでした。まあ桂浜は予想通りでしたが。。
今日は、荷台のネジが外れて針金でグルグル巻きにしたところを（Day91参照）、高知にあるジャイアントショップで修理してもらおうと訪問した。ナビに場所をインプットして出発。行って見ると全く違うジャイアントだった。違うだろう！！ 私のインプットミスです。
気を取り直して正しくインプット。ジャイアントストア高知できれいに修理してもらった。助かった。後ろのタイヤがかなり擦り減っていたのが心配で交換してもらう事にした。しかし丁度私のタイヤの部品がなく、これから先に到着するであろう高松の店に連絡してもらい、高松で部品を取り寄せ、交換することにした。ジャイアント高知さん、ありがとうございました。
その後、街をうろうろしていたら、アーケード街で「よさこい踊り」をやっていた。今年の高知の「よさこい」は前夜祭、後夜祭含めて8月9日―12日に行われた。そばにいた関係者にいろいろ聞くと、「よさこい」の参加者は30人以上150人以下と決まっている。祭りが終わった次の日曜日から12月22日の日曜まで毎週2組ずつ踊りを披露するらしい。また一昨日の金曜日の夜１９３０にNHK高知を観ていたら、「よさこい」の総集編を90分やっていた。高知の人の「よさこい」にかける情熱がいかに暑いかを感じた。私は観なかったけど。。。
高知駅前には、またまた幕末の有名人達（左から武市半平太、坂本龍馬、中岡慎太郎）の巨大な像が！詳しくはWEBで！
坂本さんの裏には、現在高知でやっている観光キャンペーンのポスターが貼ってあった！「リョーマの休日！」これはDay33の佐呂間富富士で見つけた「サ・ローマの休日」と同じではないか！ いまひとつかな～～
それより、今年、故郷熊本でやっている、「もっと、もっと、くまもっと」の方が意表さ、躍動感、奥深さでまさっている！！私はそう思いたい！
ということで、今日は高知まででした。最後に「はりまや橋」の写真を一枚。

Since it was cloudy, I departed at 740am. Temp:25C. Regrettably, it started to rain after 5 mins. I stopped several times to escape from rain and entered Kochi city after 2.5hours. The river Niyodo was flowing lowly.
I found the interesting thing at the coast side. At the best place of coast near to Katsura beach (A famous beach in Kochi), there were a lot of tombs and it continued 2-3km in a line.
I arrived Katsura beach and lookedup the statue of Ryoma Sakamoto who was very active in the time of regime change 150 years ago. The statue was bigger than my expectation!
Today I planned to go to Giant Bicycle Shop to repair mine. Firstly, the navigation took me to the different “Giant” shop. It was my mistake. I re-input the correct name of “Giant Kochi” and I arrived there finally. They could repair it perfectly. I also wanted to change the rear tire since it was worn away. However, the part was not available here and they kindly communicated to the shop in another city where I would visit this week. Thanks a lot, Giant Kochi!
In the city, I found the team who were dancing in the street. They were the members of team who participated in Yosakoi Dance Festival in 9/Aug-12/Aug. After the festival, selected 2 teams could show their performances every Sunday till Dec22.
I also found big 3 statues in front of Kochi Station. They were the people who were politically active 150 years ago. One of them was Ryoma Sakamoto who was also in Katsurahama beach. Almost all Japanese know his name! Using this famous name of Ryoma, Kochi prefecture created the campaign, “Ryoman Holiday”. There was a similar copy in Saroma Lake on Day33, which was “(Sa)Roman Holiday”. My home prefecture also created the tourism campaign by using the Japanese TV CM. It is impossible to explain without knowing Japanese language and this TV CM.
