Day102(31/August/2019) 四万十市－須崎(Shimanto City-Susaki)

朝7時は太陽が出ていた。今日は一日晴れてくれるか？ 805出発。気温24度。涼しい。今日は、まず海岸線を通り、その後四万十町の山に入り込むというルート。ナビによるとなかなかタフなルートだ。黒潮町の「白浜海岸」という黒い海岸を通り、いよいよ内陸へ。
「土佐くろしお鉄道」の駅にアンパンマン車両が丁度止まっていた。作者のやなせたかしは高知県出身で、香美（かみ）市に「やなせたかし記念館」があるらしい。多分行かない。
それから登りが続く続く。下の集落がこんなに小さく見えた。それでも標高２４０ｍくらいなんだ。
やっと登りきったところが四万十町の中心地。水車亭というお店の水車がなかなか良かった。
ここまでは、何とか曇りのままだったが、それから2時間半は小雨が続いた。須崎（すさき）に入る直前に、道の駅で休んでいたら、ベンチの隣のブースにATMが。何と「強力ATM」だ！高知信用金庫が開発した多機能ATMらしい。詳しく知りたい方はWEBで！
そしてやっと須崎港着。高知までは１１０Kmを越えるので、今日はここに泊ることにした。
四国に入って5日目。今日初めて、徒歩で移動しているお遍路さんとすれ違った。なぜ昨日まで会わなかったのだろう？

At 700am, there was a sunshine. I hoped it would be fine today. 805am departure. Temp:24C. Today’s route was the coast road at the beginning and the mountain road later. According to the navigation, this route must be tough. At the coast, I passed the black color coast named “White Beach”. At the begging of mountain road, I found the wrapping train by very famous Japanese animation character. The cartoonist of this animation was from Kohchi prefecture. That was why the train in Kohachi was using this character.
After that, the ascent was continued and continued. At the pass, I could look down the small village below. However, the altitude was only 240m. After this pass, I found the wooden water wheel in the center of Shimanto town. So far, it didn’t rain. But after here, the rain continued for more than 2.5hours.
At the entrance of Susaki city, I just found the interesting ATM, which named “High Power ATM” by Kohchi Shinkin Bank. If you want to know more, check WEB!
Finally, I arrived Susaki Port, today’s place of stay.
By the way, I met several pilgrims in the street today. This Shikoku Island is the holy place for pilgrims to visit 88 temples. Although today was the 5th day in Shikoku for me, I met them only today!
