Day95(24/August/2019) 岩国―宮島―広島(Iwakuni-Miyajima-Hiroshima)

小雨が止んだようなので750発。曇り。25度。少し涼しい。1時間半ほどで宮島口に到着。久しぶりだから海の中の大鳥居でも眺めて来るか！とフェリーに乗る。すると大鳥居は修理中ですっぽりとカバーがかかっている。残念！
ではなくて、これはラッキーと思わないといけないのかも。カバーのかかった大鳥居などそんなに簡単に見れるものではない！ これも昨日の周防大島の引きの強さのなせる業か！今日は花火大会らしく、海沿いには場所取りのシートが沢山置かれ、鹿ははしゃぎ、出店も準備中だった。ついでと言っては何ですが、厳島神社も。
30分ほど過ごして再出発。帰りのフェリーで、宮島口後方の山の中腹に異様に大きい白い建物が！だいたいこんな趣味の悪い建物は新興宗教の本部だろうなと思って、後で調べたら、案の定「平等大慧海（びょうどうだいえかい）」という宗教の本部だった。
この宗教の名前は初めて聞いた。どうやって金集めしているんだろう？
さらに1時間半ほど走って広島到着。最初は「原爆ドーム」で頭を垂れ、慰霊碑に心から手を合わせた。慰霊碑の先に原爆ドームが見える作りになっていたんだ。
そして数年前にリニューアルされたと聞いていた広島平和記念資料館へ。アメリカへの怒り、戦没者の人達の無念さ、生き残った人達の苦しみ、家族を失った人たちの絶望、などが私の胸を一杯にした。３年前にオバマ大統領が資料館を訪問した時に持参した「折り鶴」が展示されていた。
原爆落下の前の広島の街並みがいかにきれいだった事か！
この後、広島の街をいろいろまわろうかと思ったが、雨が降り出したのでやめた。

750 departure. It was cloudy and the temp:25C. After 1.5hours, I arrived the entrance of Miyajima island. In Miyajima island, there is a famous shrine, Itsukushima shrine. This shrine has a big torii gate on the sea. I crossed the sea by ferry boat. Unfortunately, the big torii was covered and under repair. But I should think this was lucky. Because it was very rare to see the covered torii.
On the way back by the ferry, I found the gigantic white building in the middle of mountain. Usually, this must be the one owned by emerging religion group. After I checked by web, yes, it was the head office of “Byodo Daie Kai”.
After 1.5 hours, finally I arrived Hiroshima city. As you might know, Hiroshima was the fist place destroyed by the atomic bomb on 6/Aug/1945. Around 150K people were killed by this bomb momentarily. The city became ruins. I visited the “Atomic Dome”. Many westerners’ tourists were there. I hoped they could understand how the usage of atomic bomb was nonsense and idiotic.
After I prayed the memorial statue, I moved to “Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum” which exhibited many photos, damaged cloths and materials. I couldn’t see them without tears. 3 years ago, U.S. president Obama visited here, and left paper cranes made by him. They were displayed.
