Day94(23/August/2019) 下松ー周防大島―岩国(Kudamatsu- Suo Oshima- Iwakuni)

雨の止むのを待って９２５に出発。気温28度。今にも降り出しそうな雲行きだが、なんとかもって欲しい。降らないで。そんな中、柳井市に入ると白い煙突が。工場シリーズ2日目です。昨日の復習はできてますか？
白い煙突といえば、中国電力の発電所ですね。後で調べると柳井発電所でした。
そして海岸沿いをさらに進むと、今日の一つの目的地に到着。それが下の写真です。
これを見て、「ああ、あそこか！」とピンと来た人は社会の動きに敏感で世の中に精通している人と言ってもいいでしょう。これは大島大橋と向こうに見えるのが周防大島（すおうおおしま。島に着くまですぼうおおしまだと思っていましたが。。。）です。
これでわかりました？ わからない？ 「あなたは～も～お～忘れたかしら～♪ 去年あった～～できごとを～～♪（神田川のメロディーに乗せて）」昨年、ここで色々な事が起こりました。
- 2018年8月15日 スーパーボランティアの尾畠さんが行方不明だった2歳児を発見したのがこの島。
- 2018年9月29日 大阪富田林署から逃げ出した樋田（ひだ）容疑者が捕まったのがこの島。
- 2018年10月22日 ドイツの貨物船がこの周防大島橋に激突して、通行はできなくなるは、橋の下の水道管も破損して水も途絶えるはの大混乱。完全復旧したのがこの7月12日。
そう、この周防大島は昨年の話題を独り占めにした島だったのです。信じられない程の引きの強さです！何たる強運？の島！ それにあやかるために、男一匹海沿いの道をこいできたのです。一歩周防大島の地に足を踏み入れたら、私も驚くほどの引きの強さを発揮するはずです。
先日の唐津の高島（宝当神社）にお願いし、この周防大島に足を踏み入れたという事は、もう鬼に金棒、弁慶になぎなた、虎に翼です。もう年末ジャンボは買わなくても当たるような気がしてきました。
岩国に近づくと、また白い煙突。何だ何だ。そんなに奮発して見せてくれるの？はい、中国電力岩国発電所です。
岩国と言えば、錦帯橋でしょう。原型は1673年に造られましたが、1950年の台風で破壊されました。その後、1953年に再建され、現在のものは再度2001-03年に建て替えられました。
ここには八代三中（Day85参照）３年の時、修学旅行で来ました。あのころ僕は若かった～～♪ 丸刈りの15歳でした。夜に鵜飼もあるという事で来て見たがどこに行ったやら？

After the rain stopped, I left the inn at 925am. Temp:28C. Though the sky was so dark, I hoped it would not rain today. When I passed Yanai-city, I found a big and white chimney again. It was very similar to the one of yesterday. Yes, this was the power plant of Chugoku Electric Power Company.
The photo of bridge ans island was the first destination today. They were “Oshima Bridge” and “Suo Oshima Island”. Last year, this island and bridge were in the limelight nationwide several times.
- 15/Aug/2018 An old volunteer discovered the missing child in this island. It was happened after one hour of his joining task. This was a big news!
- 29/Sep/2018 A suspected person who escaped from the police office in Osaka was arrested in this island. This was a big news.
- 22/Oct/2018 A Big German cargo boat crashed this bridge. Due to the huge damages, the traffic between main island and Suo Oshima was stopped. The water supply was also affected because the pipe under the bridge was damaged. The repair for the bridge was just completed last month. This also was a big news.
This island had unbelievable powers to create and solve the issues. I also need such powers. That was why I landed this island today.
In Iwakini city, I found another white chimney. Yes! This is the chimney of Iwakuni power plant of Chugoku Electric Power company.
In Iwakuni city, there is a very famous bridge, named “Kintaikyo Bridge” The shape is very unique. The original was built in 1673. But it was destroyed by Typhoon in 1950 unfortunately. It was rebuilt in 1953. The current one was reconstructed in 2001-03.
