Day 29(12/June/2019) 浜中茶内―根室。。。納沙布岬
８０５分発。気温13度。晴れ間も見える。今日は快適な一日かと思ったのは最初だけ。またまた雲が暗くなり、かつ寒くなりウィンドブレーカーを合羽に替える。向かい風・横風が強く、中々前に進まない。昨日に比べて足もだるい。途中の道路沿いのフェンスが気になった。これは動物除けではない。下が開いている。風よけ？雪よけ？何のためにあるのかわからず、頭の中が？？のまま進む。どう役に立つのか知っている人、教えてください。
3時間ほどこいで、「スワン44ねむろ」という道の駅に着く。44は国道44号線。ここで休憩。風蓮湖に面していて晴れていればとても気持ちのいい道の駅だろう。今日はちょっと残念。
根室市に入ると、一挙に北方領土の話になる。これから行く、納沙布岬（のさっぷみさき）でいろいろ勉強しよう。１３１０ｐｍ根室駅到着。思ったより小さい駅舎だ。自転車に荷物を積んでないのは、今日の宿に置いてきたから。
ここから納沙布岬まで２５Km弱。往復５０ｋｍか。。。今日は足が重く風も強いので、臨機応変に「恐山方式(Day19参照)」を取ることにする。つまり、根室から納沙布岬までバスで行くことにした。45分ほどかかった。
納沙布岬に到着。日本の最東端。温度計は13度を指していたが、寒い寒い！ダウンを合羽の下に着込む。運良く晴れていたので、すぐ先の歯舞群島が見える。一番近い貝殻島まで3.7kmしかない。皆さん、北方四島をちゃんと言えますか？ 言えたとして、漢字で書けますか？ 我が息子よ、漢字で書けないと社会ではXだよ。ちゃんと覚えておくように！トウチャンも今回、復習して書けるようになった！ 歯舞群島（はぼまいぐんとう）、色丹島（しこたんとう）、国後島（くなしりとう）そして択捉島（えとろふとう）です。納沙布岬灯台から、「火事場泥棒したソ連（ロシア）よ、不法占拠を止め、早く四島を返せ！！」と叫んできました。
ソ連は日本がポツダム宣言を受諾した後の1945年8月28日から9月5日にかけてこの四島を占領しました。その当時、17,291人の日本人が住んでいました。国後島や択捉島は、沖縄本島よりずっと大きい島です。資料館で色々な展示を見ていると、怒りがフツフツとこめかみの辺りにわいてきました。
１６３０根室の宿に到着。走行距離：５９ｋｍ（それにしては疲れた）、通過トンネル：０ この時間根室の気温は10度。寒い！

I departed from Chanai at 805am. Temp:13C. At the beginning, I expected that today would be fine day. But it was becoming cloudy and colder again. I changed the wear from windbreaker to rainwear today again. There was a strong head wind and it became tough to move forward. There were fences along with road. I questioned for what purpose those fences were used. It is not to prevent from animal’s entering. I couldn’t reach the answer by myself.
I arrived at the drive-in where located beside “Lake Furen”. If it was fine day, the scenery could be much more beautiful than the picture.
I entered in Nemuro-city. Firstly, I left my luggage in today’s inn and went to Nemuro station. Compared with my imagination, the actual size of this station was smaller. I decided to go to Cape Nossapu by bus from here. Cape Nossapu is the easternmost point of Japan. It took 45min by bus.
This city of Nemuro stands just in front of 4 islands illegally occupied by Russia after World War II. Japan has claimed and blamed Russian to return them as soon as possible. However, Russia has been ignoring this. Nemuro is the place of the foremost line to demonstrate this to Russia. 17,291 people were living in those 4 islands when WWII was ended. After that, Russian invasion started. From Cape Nossapu to the nearest island (Kaigara island) it is only 3.7km. I yelled, ”Russia, return our 4 islands as soon as possible” towards to the islands.
