Day68(21/July/2019) 新温泉―鳥取―倉吉 (Shinonnsen-Tottori-Kurayoshi）

午前中は曇りという予報だったので730発。気温25度。雨上がりの早朝の温泉街は情緒がある。
この情緒を胸に秘めながら鳥取との県境の峠越えだ。午前中の峠越えはまだまだ元気！苦しい時に口ずさむのはこの曲。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gu37IixsIg4
1時間ほどで峠を越えて鳥取県へ。小雨がふりだした。今日は宿に着くまで小雨が止んだり、強くなったりの繰り返しだった。合羽を着ると暑さで内も外もグチャグチャになるので、今日は合羽なし。その代わり10回以上いろいろな所で雨宿りした。
最初の雨宿りをしている時、地名の看板が目に入った。「陸上」と書いて、さて何と読むんでしょうか？ 答えは下の写真。
鳥取砂丘の横を通ったが、写真はこれだけ。草がいっぱい生えている。今まで、砂漠や土漠は嫌になるほど見てきたので鳥取砂丘はパス。
鳥取に何があるのかよく知らないので通過。雨が降っていると、早く到着したいのでガンガン通過していく。丁度、白兎（はくと）海岸を通る時、雨が止んだので休憩。伝説では因幡の白兎はこの海岸の前にある島にいたらしい。
白兎神社というのがあり何故か恋人の聖地だとか。。ピンク色の郵便ポストがあった。ここからラブレターでも出すと願いがかなうんだろうか？その前に、最近の若者は手紙を書くんだろうか？
倉吉の手前の海岸では、西の方は明るくかすかに青空も見えた。明日は晴れて欲しい！

Departure 730am. Temp:25C. In the early morning, the atmosphere of Spa town was nice.
First, I should cross the peak of prefecture border. In the morning, I still had an energy and rode with singing a song on the slopes.
After a hour, I could enter Tottori prefecture. Light rain started. Today, light rain, no rain and normal rain were repeated. I took shelters from rain under the eaves, the bus stop and shopping store more than 10times.
Signboard picture showed the unique way of reading of Japanese Kanji.
I just passed beside the famous sight seeing place of Tottori, “Tottori Sand Dune”. I just took a picture from the side road. It was not necessary for me to visit this place since I had seen many deserts in my life.
I didn’t visit Tottori city too as I didn’t know what kinds of famous places were there. Specially, I didn’t feel to visit museum or park with wet cloths during rain. When I passed “Hakuto beach”, the rain stopped and I could take a picture of beach where had the legend about the white rabbit. I didn’t know why this place became the holy one for lovers. There was a pink postal post.
At the end of today’s journey, I could see the brightness of west sky. I hoped the weather would be better tomorrow.
